Privacy Policy

TurantTools Learn (learn.turanttools.com) has two parts: printable worksheets and tools for parents and teachers, and a Play corner of learning games for children. We built both so that we never collect personal information from children, and we collect as little as possible from anyone.
Children and the Play corner
The Play corner pages (Daily Math Challenge, Times Tables Challenge, Math Speed Drill, Spelling Practice and Clock Game) are made for children. On these pages we do not collect any personal information from children: there are no accounts, no names, no email addresses, no chat, no photos and no location.
Play pages show no ads and load no analytics or advertising code. They don't set cookies for tracking or advertising.
Stars, best scores, stickers and spelling word lists are saved only in the browser on your own device (local storage). They are never sent to us. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
This follows the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code: high privacy by default, no profiling, no data sharing and no nudges to keep children playing.
What we do not collect
You don't need an account, name, phone number or email to use any tool.
Text you type into a tool, such as a child's name on a handwriting sheet or a spelling list, stays in your browser. Child names are never added to share links.
Pages for grown-ups: visit statistics
On the printables and other pages for parents and teachers, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which worksheets are used, with Google Signals and ad personalisation turned off. It may set cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. It never receives what you type into a tool. In the UK, the EU and Switzerland it does not set cookies unless you agree. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal information, to count visits on all pages.
Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
Advertising
We plan to show ads through Google AdSense on pages for grown-ups only. Play pages for children never show ads.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com, and of some other vendors' cookies at https://www.aboutads.info/choices.
How long we keep data
We keep no personal information about children. Emails sent to us by grown-ups are deleted when the conversation is finished, and at the latest after 12 months. Visit statistics are kept by Google Analytics for 2 months (its shortest setting) and by Cloudflare as totals.
Parents' rights
Because we don't collect personal information from children, there is nothing to review or delete on our side. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), write to contact@turanttools.com and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you (normally none, apart from emails you send us) and ask us to correct or delete it. We do not sell personal information. Write to contact@turanttools.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date above.
